In order to fulfill its mission, AACC shall maintain a total compensation program (inclusive of pay and benefits) directed toward attracting, retaining, and rewarding a qualified and diverse workforce. Within the boundaries of financial feasibility and sustainability, employee compensation shall be externally competitive and internally equitable.
The college will not practice or tolerate unlawful discrimination in pay and will conduct periodic salary analyses to ensure equity and a competitive market salary structure.
Market considerations, fiscal realities, or regulatory demands may impact the intent of this policy and may cause the college to change its pay and benefits programs and practices.
The Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the President, or his/her designee, to develop and establish appropriate procedures to implement and enforce this policy.
